Measles Updates

Think you may have measles?

Due to a rise in measles cases in neighbouring communities, please call ahead if you suspect you have measles and plan to visit a health care provider. This advance notice helps us take appropriate precautions to protect our staff, patients, and other visitors.

At Leeds & Grenville Community Family Health Team, we will ask the following screening questions:

• Have you recently developed any of these symptoms?
  • Rash,
  • Fever,
  • Runny nose,
  • Cough,
  • Red watery eyes, or
  • Small white spots in your mouth?
• Have you or anyone in your household been exposed to measles in the past three weeks?
